    Otherwise in very good condition.
    Figure measures approximately 5-1/2" L x 5-1/2" H
Made of cast crystal which shows natural variations of the production process.
A reproductions of an original Faberge piece
The Faberge hard-stone animal carvings are among the most charming works created by Peter Carl Faberge. A Faberge animal is distinguished by its naturalistic style and the lively charm it emanates. This is achieved by the discriminating choice of materials, the highest possible standard of workmanship and a devotion to every detail.
The Fabergé family originated in France but was forced to leave the country due to religious persecution.  During the 18
    th
century, the family settled in Russia. Peter Carl Fabergé was born on May 30, 1846, the son of a goldsmith.  After apprenticing with several master goldsmiths in Germany, France and England, Peter Carl Fabergé returned to St. Petersburg a highly accomplished craftsman. In 1885, Peter Carl Faberge presented the first Imperial Egg to Czar Alexander III and soon became the most famous jeweler in the world.
